Over the years, the practice has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our patients, while maintaining a strong commitment to exceptional service and patient comfort.
Dr Sharan Suthar joined the team in 2009, followed by Dr Alan Worrall in 2014. Together, we took ownership of the practice in 2018 and continue to uphold its long-standing values, providing trusted, compassionate care for every generation.
When we took ownership, we knew it was time to modernise. Over the years, we’ve refurbished and upgraded every part of the practice, from new intraoral scanners and rotary endodontic systems to the latest in digital X-ray and imaging technology. We also expanded from three surgeries to four fully equipped treatment rooms to meet growing demand.
In 2021, we rebranded as Thornley Park Dental, marking a new era for our practice. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to patient care never wavered. We introduced dental membership plans, expanded our cosmetic and preventive treatment offerings, and welcomed a dental therapist to enhance our hygiene and wellness services.
By 2023, we began transitioning from NHS to private care, and since April 2025, we are a fully private dental practice (with a small NHS allocation for children’s dentistry).
You’ll find us in Denton, Manchester, conveniently located near Dane Bank, Reddish, Gorton, and Audenshaw. We’re also close to the M60 Ring Road (Dentons Rock junction), making us easily accessible from Hyde, Stockport, and beyond.
While we don’t have on-site parking, there’s free street parking available nearby on the Dane Bank estate, just a short walk from the practice. We kindly ask that you park with care and consideration for our neighbours, avoid driveways, and be mindful of local residents.
Our practice sits proudly within a friendly terrace of local businesses on Manchester Road — next to other independent businesses, giving a real community feel.
Inside, you’ll find a modern, welcoming environment with two wheelchair-accessible ground-floor surgeries and two upstairs treatment rooms. Every detail of our clinic has been designed to ensure your comfort, safety, and confidence in your dental care.
